Owner & Property Manager in Charge - Sarah Botkin

I am so excited and grateful to be the proud owner of Dreams N Druthers! My husband, our two dogs, and I live in Summerville, just 27 miles from Isle of Palms, nestled near the plantations on the outskirts of Charleston. As Gen-Xers (yes, that’s a word! 😉), we’re working together as a team to create a work-life balance that also brings opportunities for our family and friends.

Growing up in Wyoming and Alaska, I was the kid who emptied out the pantry to play “store” with my Barbies. Owning my own business has always been a dream of mine! At 19, I started working in call centers, and by 24, I was managing a team of up to 50 employees at a time. At 26, I began a 13-year career with Wyndham Vacation Resorts, where I started in management and—being a bit of a “nerd”— dove into analytics early on.

By a twist of fate, and the era of COVID, I entered the world of property management as an apartment manager. After moving to Charleston, I transitioned to HOA management, where I met Beth Crunelle, the owner of Waterview PM. Beth, at a different phase in her life, was seeking a way to enjoy the fruits of her labor while reducing her workload. I began contracting with her, and quickly fell in love with the property management experience, which inspired me to start my own company. Now, Beth and I are building unforgettable vacation experiences together.

Having grown up in small towns, the sense of community has always been important to me. There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that my work creates someone else’s vacation. My heart is in providing that experience, and I’m thrilled to be on this journey. 

Assistant Property Manager & Hospitality Coordinator - Beth Crunelle

Beth Crunelle, Owner of Waterview Property Management, LLC, has managed vacation properties since she and her husband Trevor purchased their own vacation property in 2006. In 2014, they purchased property at The Ocean Inn, where they met Thelma and Siebelt Gerdes, who managed individual condos and property at large at The Ocean Inn. In 2015, after a chance conversation with Thelma, Beth created her property management company and soon began managing the properties of others at The Ocean Inn. Over time, she increased her portfolio to include properties at Sea Cabins and elsewhere on Isle of Palms and Mt Pleasant.
Fast forward ten years.... Another chance conversation, this time with Sarah Botkin, created space for Beth to take steps towards retirement, while still managing and co-managing property elsewhere in SC and at The Ocean Inn. With Sarah as the Manager-In-Charge, Beth hopes to provide top-tier assistance to both owners and guests. She says, "The part of this job I enjoy the most is watching families create lifelong memories while spending time together away from work and distractions. I have made it my mission to help more folks do the same. This goal is only possible with the invaluable help of our service providers and the continued investment of owners whose desire it is to create comfortable spaces that guests will enjoy." Beth has lived in Mt Pleasant for more than 30 years with her ex-Navy husband Trevor. (Fun fact - Beth and Trevor were some of the first people to drive across I-526 when it opened in 1992 and the IOP Connector when it opened in 1993!) Their two adult children currently reside in different areas of upstate New York. Sidenote - Beth is a member of Bills Mafia.
